GMAT Test Centre in Kuala Lumpur / Petaling Jaya

I have received a couple of e-mails regards GMAT test centres in Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya. Apparently, some could not find any centre listed in mba.com. After checking with Willy, the GMAT coordinator at Wordware Distributors (M) Sdn. Bhd., this is his reply:

"While you searching the GMAT Test center for your test, Wordware name always appear at the bottom. Perhaps you try to search for 10 or 20 centers, you will able to locate Wordware Distributors name at the bottom of the list."

Under Find a Test Center, enter "Kuala Lumpur" in the search box and then scroll down the result page. Click "Display more test centers" link. Wordware Distributors is listed as No. 7.

Good luck!

Hi, i tried to locate a test center in Malaysia but Wordware did not appear on the list. Do you know if it is still a GMAT test center?

Hi Jimmy,

I'm going through a similar predicament as Anon 11:21.

Followed the instructions as mentioned, but not getting the same results as you have mentioned.

Any further advice to troubleshoot?

Kindly contact Willy for more information and to confirm if Wordware is still the test centre. A couple of months back I did contact him and he said they were.

I would urge people not to take the exam at WordWare because the Proctors are really unprofessional! I can still hear their loud conversation outside the room even though I was wearing earplugs!

Furthermore, the Procter (guy) will look down at you and say things that will influence your emotion if you are retaking the GMAT.

How far in advance do you need to schedule the GMAT test? Also, what dates/days can you schedule to take the GMAT test?

You can book as earlier as 7 days in advance, preferably 1 month in advance in case you need to reschedule, you wont be penalised. Check mba.com for latest info and conditions.

If you are retaking, whether first or xx retakes, you can only resit 30 days after your last exam date.

One day before the exam, went to Wordware to check out the place.
The person was very very unfriendly, bordering on rude. I would advise not to take your test there.

Hmm Willy oh Willy ... :)

My advice: take your test and go. There are only 2 test centres in Malaysia. I am not sure if the Penang one still exist. The nearest would be Singapore and you would have to queue for months to get a place.
